Red Hail… because it never ends
In 2015 “Scenolab” in cooperation with “Eiva Arts Foundation”introduced Armenia in the Prague Quadrennial, the most known event in the worldin the field of scenography. The topicof Prague Quadrennial 2015 was “Shared space, music, politics, weather”.
“Red Hail… because it never ends” was shown at Kafka’s House and was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide.“Red Hail… because it never ends” the video art installation was created as a result of interaction between children’s photography entitled “Some of Our Little Girls with Their Dolls” taken by Norwegian missionary Bodil Biørn in the Western Armenia in 1910 and a “New Flower” resurrection tagh (solemn hymn originally created by St. Nerses Shnorhali in the 12th century) given a fresh and attractively youthful representation of the Armenian sacred music by Tigran Hamasyan created in 2015.
Armenia’s representation in the Quadrennial of Prague was possible thanks to the financial support of Ministry of Culture of RA and the Organizing Committee for the Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Armenian Genocide.
